hey everyone.
Korg ms2000. I know they've done a couple revisions on it. But, for the price, I've always thought they were pretty cool units. Opinions, tricks? |

Personally, i dont like them.
The specs look good on paper, and they are kinda fun to play with, but the knobs are flimsy, the osc's dont kick like they should, the envelopes arent snappy enough for me, and the filter has zipper noise. Then again, i'm a snob *shrug* |

The bass player in my old band had one, and he always got cool squelchy, bleepy, squiggly electronic noises out of it. I really don't care for the cheap, back-lit sequencer buttons tho. Looks like a toy.

i've never been a big fan. even when people do use them for more esoteric sounds, i find there's a certain quality to them that kind of turns me off. but maybe you can finesse them to sound good... i've only used them a couple of times.
