Default correct way to route to amp?

hello guys, im not sure if i am connecting to my amp correctly, the signal chain is as follows:

USB midi contoller >PC>Presonus Firebox>Carvin Keyboard Amp

I am not sure if the keyboard amp is designed to accept high and low impedance signals or just high. should i be using passive DIs inbetween the Firebox and the inputs of the amp?

Thanks,

Joel

The keyboard amp is set up to recieve line level signal. You should be getting line level signal out of the firebox. It probably won't be the best sound compared to studio monitors but everything should work fine without a DI.

excellent, thanks. the sound has always been decent through the amp, but sometimes noisy, and i thought that may be due to inproper levels. at this point i think the noise is actually coming from the firebox, i may need to get rid of it.
