Default Behold.. this PS2 game...

http://www.guitarherogame.com/

A game where you actually play by shredding on a SG controller thingamajig. You get to play "Smoke on the Water" and s**t. Anyone thinking that someone smart might use one of those PS2 controller to USB adapter cables and use something like MidiYoke to create a dirt cheap midi guitar controller? Anyways, I wish I had a PS2 just so I could try that game out and wail...

*this should be the right forum since its a virtual guitar right?*

I knew it was only a matter of time before they would begin marketing musical instruments for animals. Rumor has it that other sea creatures have been jealous of the seals who get to play horns at Seaworld.
And you know that the rich and famous will lose their minds once they begin selling super mini guitars for their little dogs they carry around like fashion accessories.
Oh no! I just realized that there is already such an incredible amount of humans trying to make it in the music world. WHAT IF.........
Nevermind. I can't even think about it. I AM not afraid of the competition!
I'M NOT!!!

When you play this game the guitar controller thing makes a clicking sound that makes me crazy. You have to turn the stereo up! I think it's a pretty cool game.

i was at a circuit city the other day and heard "i wanna be sedated" by the ramones over and over and over; it turned out to be some kid playing this game. it's more annoying than it sounds.

I got this thing called the virtual guitar for christmas back when I was a pup. It was a lot like this but for the PC, and it was just strumming, no left hand buttons. You would be jamming in your room to , oh say, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Aerosmith, Gin Blossoms, and if you were doing good the posters came to life. It was kinda cool and got me a little more into playing rock music rather than the classically based stuff I had done all my life.

If only copywriting wasn't such a pervasive buzz kill you could set it up that anybody could take any song, create a map for where the strums need to go and which buttons should be pressed, a midi file for the strums to trigger, and put it up online. That would be seriously cool.

I'm putting in my order for a reverse-headstock B.C. Rich Iron Bird controller. Since they plan to post more songs online maybe you will be able to add your own songs.

haha that reminds me, are there any animals out there that can actually play a real song on an instrument? like monkeys? i would like to see that. the seals just blow the horns, but dont really play songs, right?
