Default anyone ever tried the metasonix boxes?

has anyone ever tried the metasonix http://www.metasonix.comboxes? despite their nasty, offensive marketing techniques, the descriptions sound awesome. i've always wanted to get my hands on one of the TM-1s (waveshaper/ringmod), but they are so damn expensive. Any opinions on these things? Then there's the latest release: the TX-2... the Butt Probe...

Maybe try this one. http://metasonix.com/URBmagMetasonix.pdf It doesn't really go into the specifics of the TX2 but it does mention one of my heroes, Raymond Scott. To me the Metasonix marketing attitude is silly but the cobbled together motto (old T.V. tubes?!) is one I like, and I'd bet their gear would get used a ton if I had it.
