Default distortion?

anyone have a favorite distortion box for their synth setup? .... or distortion technique (dsp algorithm, etc.)?

i'm sick of bitcrushed stuff recently... as crazy as it is, it sounds flat to me nowadays... sigh...

For overdrive sounds I use the Ohm Force - Predatohm:

For fuzz/sustain sounds I use the Audio Damage - FuzzPlus 2:

I have yet to hear better distorts on a computer than those 2.

my favorite distortion technique is hitting tubes really hard with just a smidgen of solid state distortion.
