Default Upgrading firmware on Micron

I just got an Alesis Micron and it shipped to me with the old firmware, but when I try to upgrade it fails after 91%
Do you think I have to return it?

No. Slow down your sequencer's tempo when sending the sysex.

I must be doing something wrong. I recorded the sysex in a midi track in protools, using 120, 100, 70 bpm and the Micron always fails right at 91% and says try again. I read the Protools manual about all the settings I should use when I'm doing this. The Sysex came from Alesis' website, and I tried DLing again. The only other element was the Sysex Librarian which played the .syx file into Protools. I also tried playing it right from Sysex Librarian into the Micron.

Alesis USA responded to my email saying I should try Sysex Librarian. I tried that first... they just didn't read my email all the way through.
Alesis Japan said "If you cannot upgrade the OS we reccomend sending it back to us, and we will do it for you." That is nice, but it might mean there is a known problem, which they are covering up.

Is there anybody on here willing to try and help me? I want to try doing this on a Windows machine as opposed to my Mac. We would need MIDIox or something like that, an internet connection, and a MIDI output. Please help me if you can!

I feel kinda bad about this. I returned the Micron for a new one. After I got it I tried the update again, using the digi002, but no luck. Same thing. Failed at 91%. I didn't really remember her telling me this but it turns out my wife has a Yamaha UX16 (usb to MIDI cable). She found the driver, downloaded it, plugged it in and that was that. UPGRADE SUCCESFUL. Apparantly my digi is too complicated for me... or buggy.
