Default Help a noob in need!

This is my first post so firstly, hello to everyone on the forums!

Ok, you may have to bear with me here, as I only recently started getting into music production and am still getting my head around it...

Using Ableton with a TC Electronic Desktop Konnekt 6 and a Novation remote SL Compact midi controller at the moment, and having a few issues.

First of all I can only get audio from the konnekt 6 through headphones when plugged directly into the unit, not through the speakers. Tried everything I can think of to get it sorted, but still no luck... Gonna try plugging the speakers directly into the konnekt 6 but that's gonna have to wait till tomorrow since I can't get a 3.5 to quarter inch adapter till then

Next, the Encoders and automap have worked excellently with just about every VST and plugin I use in Ableton, however I can't get the drumpads, keys or mod and pitch wheels to map in Ableton (this is most likely something REALLY simple that i've overlooked ). Since it's most likely a simple problem, I thought I should find the answer easily enough online, but there's just way too many results and too much to sift through when using searches!

Anyone that can shed any light on this it'd be greatly appreciated!

What kind of speakers do you have? Are they powered? If so, you can patch the balanced line outputs of the interface directly into them. They say on the web site it works with powered, or non-powered speakers. I don't beleive them after reading the manual to this thing;

http://www.tcelectronic.com/media/DT...kt_US_0705.pdf

So, if you've got Active monitors [IE Monitors with Amplifiers in them] you should be good to go. As well, you could patch these outputs into any Line Level destination such as a mixer, or power amp with passive speakers.
