HELP ME GET THE ULTIMATE TONE FOR THE 80S

I need a crash course in synth/sound adjustments
Can someone pls assist me in figuring out how to adjust certain parameters to get certain tones ... in other words I dont know what the hell I'm doing. -Oscillators, Envelopes, VCOs

For example I'm trying to get the sound for the song Voices Carry by Till Tuesday ... I cannot lock in that square wave?... I've tried everything

If someone can give me an idea on what patch to use and what to adjust to get that wah-type deep tone in that tune I would really appreciate it

I'm using:
Korg Legacy Collection (tried POLYSIX)
Komplete 5 (tried PRO-53)
