novation/exprssion pedal

Hi All

im trying to assign a fs-5u foot switch to ableton live,
using the novation remote sl expression in slot.

it goes well when i use the sustain in slot,
but with the expression slot its going crazy,
i think i nees to edit it in the novation , but im not sure ,any ideas
(i want to use both pedals, that why i need the two in slots)

plus, is there a way to assign the sustain pedal to operate in ableton, without
effect the sustain in the keyboard?
