Unhappy padKONTROL..help..

Ok, from the start, i'm gonna say that i'm as new as can be with pad and synth work...

I've got a KORG padKONTROL and it came with the USB connection, and i've just ordered a MIDI to USB adapter as well.

The thing is, despite having presets i can't hear shit!! It's quite irritating because i've searched for everything I can yet to no avail!? Help?!

Also, I have Fruityloops studio 6 - can i make loops on that and upload them to the trigger box??

Sorry for the newbish question guys..i'm just stuck

Er, the PadKontrol is just that: a controller. It has preset mappings for controlling other things. In other words, there are no built in sounds. If you want to hear a sound, you need to hook it up to your computer via USB, install any drivers and such, open up Fruity Loops, assign the MIDI INPUT in FL as coming from the PadKontrol, and off you go.
