Default foreign and exotic scales

What scales and modes outside of our ever popular major and minor scales do you like to use? My three favorites are all the modes of the melodic minor scale ( in C: C,D,Eb,F,G,A,B,C), The Combo scale ( I dont know if htis is the proper name, but I found this scale by adding all the notes of a c major tirad and a c# triad. C Combo Scale: C, C#,E,F,G,G#,Bb. (i added the Bb because i rule.)) and the dimished scale (in C: C,D,Eb,F,F#,G#,A,B,C). what are your favorites?

im hooked on the whole/half or half/whole scale. its fun to play since it slightly more geometric then major based scales. also because the tonic gravity is so evasive.

I'm not sure of the name, it's some oriental scale. I've heard it called a billion things, basically it's the 1 2 4 5 7 of the phrygian mode, in E that's E F A B D. It's really fun to play a I IV V jam in place of or combined with the blues scale. Or for a groovy chord using the entire scale, try (from the lowest string up) E F A D B E. Slowly rake the strings near the bridge, starting at the high E on down. You'll be worshiping with Tsung in the holy mounting temple!

The half/whole scale is a perfactly semectrical scale. Because it contains eight notes and not seven, its rhythmicly semectrical this is what makes this scale so fun!

Dude, I once played a C, a B#, and a Dbb at the same time. The results were MINDBLOWING.

Default Chromatic scale

This is the bomb. Its basically every note you can play (minus semi tones). I practice this scale every days as a warm up. I go from the lowest note on the guitar to the highest. Its a great warm up and it really can sinc up your right hand/left hand. great for practicing alternate picking and crazy dive bomb licks.

I play only the semi-tones.

DOODE! YOUR A MAD MAN! very intresting... on the piano those are all the same pitch, but in the mathimatics of music those are three very different notes. just wondering, did that "chord" open the gates of hell?
