Thumbs up

"Musketeer", 35 seconds
a song about drinking liters of Fortified wine, "Five dollars to freedom, five dollars for my kingdom, five dollars for real life.....The sun is shinning through my face"

"Cell phones" 40 seconds
I think u might be able to guess what the song is about, " cellular phones are annoying as shit your turned off to the world when u talk on it, if your hit by a car when talking on the phone Ill walk on by and laugh as u groan"

a couple of fast and furious tracks straight from the hit machine.

Although, not a song of mine, I have recently heard 12 minutes of NESS (chicago) twenty something minute long opus they are putting together for their next record. It is quite impressive and high anticipated.

my first (and so far only completed song) is about 2 min and 30 seconds; no 2 parts are the same. it's so short, but took me a great deal of effort to finish.

I don't think I've ever managed anything shorter than a minute and a half. Mine usually fall between 3:30 and 4:30. I don't think I've ever managed to make anything longer than about 6:45!

few people can write an interesting "rock" song for over 8 minutes. it usually sounds self-indulgent, and should have been left off of a studio album.

Type O Negative is a great band (imo), and their songs clock in over 8 minutes on a regular basis. The slow, lengthy sludge draws me in every time. Sometimes I wanna be taken on a long, groovy journey baby woaaaaaaaah yeah......................
