once wrote a song called 53 Seconds. And, well, it was ...

My band used to write long songs all the time. I think our shortest topped out at 5 minutes. Most were 7 1/2. We had a few that were 12 to 15.

I have a noise piece that is about an hour and a half long. The only way I can give it to people uncompressed is on a DVD or flash card.

My old band had a song that usually ran under a minute. Buy the record:

i think it was sugar ray used to come out for their encore and play a one-note song; just sat at their instruments, hit one note and leave......best sugar ray song ever (i wish more bands would take their example).

This is more of an expermental piece, but I set up a room mic and recorded myself sleeping for ten hours. I tweeked out the breathing sounds to sound crazy as hell! Its by far the longest piece I've ever created. Its soooooo good the chicktitas love it! Plus I found out the mysteries of my sleepng patterns.

reminds me of the my bloody valentine "holocoust" at the end of you made me realise where they would pound out the same d chord vaiation for 20-30 minutes at vomit-inducing volumes, and then finish the song.

Default The 2 Minute Hate

me and my boys just recorded an album called "the two minute hate" which consists of ten songs, all around 2 minutes (anywhere from 2:00 to 2:59). we are selling the album for 22 cents. it works out to be one penny per minute of music. Lots of illegal copywrighted liberties taken.
