A great stalker song is Superstar done by the Carpenters but made super creepy by Sonic Youth. The lyrics are like a letter to a musician where the writer thinks that the songs are written for Him/her. The chorus quotes song lyrics from this fictional artist. " Don't you remember you told me you love me baby. You said you'd be coming back again baby....I love you. I Really do"

Default Baah

This is one of those we are going sit and chastise a younger band because tom petty was soooo original. eventhough he stole his sound from the brits from the 60's and 70's its lame to even think for one moment that one is complety exempt from sounding original because every thing is a derivived from something of the past.
