I just found my copy of Braid's Movie Music Volume 2; a fun disk of rarities that they put together after the band broke up (for the first time). I played it in my friend's car for the first time in years and just listened to the great covers. They did My Life by Billy Joel, Baby, Now That I've Found You by The Foundations, 2 Smiths songs (This Charming Man, and There Is a Light That Never Goes Out) Always Something There to Remind Me popularized by Naked Eyes, and a fantastic version of The Pixies' staple Trompe le Monde. The rest of the original material is ok; but for the covers alone, it's worth a listen.
