Default Powered mixers- Best bang for your buck

The powered mixer is a thing to be avoided in most scenarios, but sometimes its just the most practical option.

Do any of you have a favorite?

I always liked the Gigrac by Soundcraft. I don't know if I'm overly biased toward soundcraft, but I think they rank high in sound quality and reliability.

I would suggest Soundcraft as well. Soundcraft makes killer FOH mixers and mixers period. You get very clean power and the Gigracs have that cool casing which can be both rack-mountable or a table top which you can close up the face when you're not using it. Very nice pres and input jacks as well. Other than that Yamaha does some nice powered mixers.

I'll have to second the Soundcraft and Yamaha mixers. I'd still rather have a nice QSC amp but if I had to it would be one of these two.

Oh Man! I once had my fingers crushed by a QSC amp; but I still think they make solid products. Soundcraft are good; not a Midas, but still a nice addition to your set-up for the price.
