Sound On Sound.

There a full section into how Hans Zimmer is dealing with all his new samples.
History of his old library, new sample ranges used, problem areas,32-bit,64-bit.
GVI...etc

It goes real in depth (for a mag) & gives you examples of problems the guys ran into.

If you haven't read it I won't blow it for ya but advise you take a sneak peek.

More power scotty!!!

Oh I will say this though. If you'd like to hear these samples in action, watch the new pirates of the caribbean film.
These guys really are on the cutting edge.

....the only problem herein is the fact that I'd have to sit through a Pirates of the Carribean movie.

I watched the first 15 minutes of the first one and I wanted to stab myself in the eyes. No thanks.

Ok fair enough. It's the samples though that are the great deal. In the mag it goes very indepth into how they got around some hugh issues.
