anyone know details about these debatable "industry standards?" When were they last produced? ANy difference between the ns10 and ns10m ?

And are they worth seeking out? If you use them, will your mixes really magically translate to any system--as legend has it?

in japan they have them in coffee houses and restaurants... and of course recording studios. i think they were just home stereo speakers or something.

well i picked up a pair, since they were to cheap to pass up. I figured they would be a investement (soon to be vinatge i guess?) or at least better then my BEH truths. Although the Truths have a lot more bottom.

As expected the mids are dominatnt and the lows are lacking. Not bad for a small apt studio like mine.

and yeah they translate wonderfully.... my spanish friend came over yesterday and we finally we able to understand what we were saying!
