has anyone tried the korby audio mics? have you heard anything about them? I am curious because they look kinda neat. are they out yet? how do they sound?

i used the Korby KAT4 here in a studio in chicago, it had multiple capsules. I was really impressed with the c12 capsule, compared with the real thing, it sounded just as good. This is a must for a high end mic collection, imo.

i assumed they are US made, but i guess i dont know for sure. starting at $4500 i hope they arent made in Japan. they are currently available. i remember know using the 251 cap on an upright bass, i thought it was the most georgous upright tone ive experienced.
