What do you think about cheap cables? Can you hear a difference between Hosa and Mogami?

It would take a lot of A/B testing for me to be able to say one way or the other. I do know that I've never been able to hear a difference that jumps out at me. Maybe I have tin ears, or maybe I'm cheap, or maybe I'm just honest. It's hard to say.

You guys can keep arguing about cheap versus expensive. I've moved on the directionality debate.

I really don't notice a difference between a $9 Whirlwind xlr and a Monster or Mogami. Maybe if I were using the most expensive mics I might notice a difference but with mid-level AKG, Shure, and AT's my recordings are the same either way.
In most cases, if you keep your stage and recording cables separate they are usually fine. (except for those molded free cables they sometimes throw in with a new guitar). |

The black plastic cables go from the angled end to the staight end. Fits most guitars.
