I lost interest in this when I couldn't figure out how to order. Apparently they got it set up and they all sold out. Then last night I saw that the second shipment will be $5 each. 500% markup!??! Go figure I guess.

Anyway I bought 3.

I'm curious to hear them, they look odd and I don't know what I'd use them for - but, I am never hesitant to add to my collection. Have you heard anything about them? Or - anything recorded with them?

I ordered 5 of them. I will let you know as soon as they come in. I am planning on snaking them up and mounting on a styrofoam ball or something to make surround recordings. But first I will try on toms I think (I'm into little mics on toms). I read somwhere that they are actually quite surprising.

all of the images are weirdly photoshopped together... How many of these exist outside of the prototype stage ?

There have been a lot of positive feedback on other bb's but so far the second shipment seems to be MIA.

I finally got the mics. They came delivered in a priority mail envelope. I expected a box but each of the mics was wrapped in its own individual apportionment of bubble wrap and each looked unblemished.

Tests to come!!!

Looks like Karma updated their website. They removed all those weird parts where is said the thing about the human hairs... that was weird. They also apparently stopped taking orders for those super-cheap micro microphones.
