edit: I prefer to listen to music on vinyl, so long as it was recorded and mastered before 1994 or so.

A good turntable with a clean record anyday. It's just warmer and feels like it breathes. CD's are more practical. Easy to carry around, skip to favorite tracks, fit in a smaller amount of space. The sound quality is getting better. So usually due to lazyness and availability I am listening to a CD, But there will always be something special about an LP.

Thumbs up Techno? Heck NO!!

When I dj kids birthday parties they don't seem to enjoy my Rennie Pilgrem remixes or Richie Hawtin vinyl... so I decided to sell my slammin' Acid Techno records and invest in a Clown Suit and a set of CD decks.

Now the Kids LOVE me!!
