K, but I might get drunk at mike's apartment (good website, BTW) and mistake it for beer.

that reminds me of that episode of seinfeld, where kramer used his blood to keep jerry's car from overheating...classic; and another episode that was great was when kramer sued the tobacco companies for smoking damage to his skin and teeth (see how i brought that full circle?). all jokes aside; from a performance standpoint though, it's tough to contend with a room full of smokers. we can all agree on that, right? can we all agree also that if given a choice, you would prefer just never to have started?

Good point, and agreed I wish I never started. But you can't win em all, most times you don't win ever, so if you're happy why mess with success? Death... disease.... yeah well it happens smoker or not, IMO do what makes you happy.

Default singing for smokers

I feel if you are a normal smoker it's great to have warm drinks as much as you smoke, or just don't smoke and have everyone tell what a great voice you have.

well, i will see if quiting smoking improves my vocals, quit smoking 2 weeks ago, i think its a no brainer that it will improve at least some... if not the quality of the sound, at the very least, more lung power for sure any other singers out there quit smoking recently? see any improvements yet>?

i just have to give props to anyone who quits; it's harder to kick than heroin, and much more socially acceptable.

yea, and i been reading, the urge to smoke sometimes lasts for YEARS after quitting, so i guess ya gotta get used to that "urge to smoke" hanging around for a long while... punishment for getting addicted in the 1st place? hehe it's not so easy, but well worth the hassle
