yea, like a glorified shotgun mic? i wonder if it is less quiet or is better or worse at leaving out unwanted ambient noise? how much does it cost?

The whole kit is priced around $40 bucks. I imagine you can do stereo if you bought two of them and taped them together with masking tape.
